FIVE Tips for Thriving in Prayer Week

  1. Set Your Alarm

    If you have signed up for slots or attending collective prayer, set an alarm it’s too easy to forget

  2. Come ready to pray

    Use your journey to the prayer room to centre yourself. Bring a notepad, bible, worship songs, items (like prayer beads), prayer lists that might help you to centre your scattered senses.

  3. God is With you

    God is always with you. Through prayer we are reminded and become aware of God’s presence. If in doubt, pray “come Holy Spirit” a few times aloud, see what happens!

  4. Try Something New

    Try using these helpful practices and resources:

  5. Pass the Baton

    When the next person arrives to take over from you, pray for them and their slot(s). Pass on the blessing that you have received to keep the momentum.
