In this message, Sim Dendy shares how every follower of Jesus carries a unique fragrance - the presence and character of Christ that flows from time spent with Him.
Drawing from Luke 7:36–50, Sim reflects on the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet with perfume: the same fragrance that covered Him also marked her. When we stay close to Jesus, His presence “rubs off” on us and changes the atmosphere wherever we go.
Sim challenges us not to measure our faith or ministry by activity, projects, or comparison, but by the love and humility we bring to those around us. True transformation happens not through scale or success, but through small acts of selfless service done with great love.
Exploring the symbolism of anointing oil in Scripture, he reminds us that believers are anointed ones - “little Christs” - called to live heavenly lives in earthly places.
Our fragrance is our message: who we are in Christ speaks louder than what we do.
The talk concluded with a time of anointing and prayer, commissioning the church to carry the presence of Jesus into our homes, workplaces, and communities, bringing His hope and beauty wherever we go.
