What is Easter?
Easter is the story of Jesus’ final days.
It begins around a table at the Last Supper, where Jesus shares a final meal and his last teaching with friends.
In a garden called Gethsemane he wrestles in prayer. He is arrested, put on trial, and executed on a cross.
Then comes silence - a day where hope seems gone.
But the story doesn’t end there. We believe God raised Jesus from the dead.
Easter is the announcement that love is stronger than death, and the beginning of God making all things new.
