Every year, we challenge ourselves to pray FIVE nights a week for FIVE weeks.

That’s it. We read the bible, and pray.

Determined to recenter ourselves on prayer, study and community as we enter a new season.

Time: 8-9pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Place: Online or In-Person

How does it work?

Someone different leads each night, however they feel is right.

The only directive is, every night, we will read the bible together - out loud. And pray.

This time we will read the Gospel of John in the New Testament.

PLUS! On Sunday nights from 17 September 2023, we will gather to read and WORSHIP.

We are going to try something new.

On Sunday nights from 17 September 2023, we will incorporate dedicated worship times into FIVE by FIVE.

We are excited to see how this blend of worship and word will come together!

All Worship evenings will be hosted at Dry Street Memorial Church, One Tree Hill, Basildon SS16 5FP

These evening will not be streamed online.

FIVE by FIVE is all about the taking part. Allowing yourself to dig in, and be brave enough to pray, read, and lead.

So, we meet in same groups throughout, to grow trust and give space - although Sunday night worship is for everyone.

This year we’ll meet in two allocated groups:

Sunday Worship is open to both groups, although it will not be streamed via Zoom.

If you signed up to be in-person, you are in-person.
Otherwise you will meet on Zoom.
If you have not been allocated to a group, please join the online session via Zoom.
When it is your usual House Church night, please prioritise eating and praying with your House Church.
