We’re back in the Prayer Room!
From Monday 02 to Saturday 07 November, we’ll once again dedicate ourselves to seeking the face of Jesus in a 24-7 Prayer Room at Victoria Road Chapel, Stanford-le-Hope.
What is a 24-7 Prayer Room?
A 24-7 Prayer room is a creative prayer space that enables a chain of unbroken day and night prayer, bringing friends, communities and churches together to seek the presence of God.
Ancient Celts used the phrase “thin places” to describe where the veil between heaven and earth becomes so thin that prayer flows easily, and the still, small voice of God is heard clearly.
Over and over, people report that in the presence of God, one hour feels like ten minutes.

What will we be praying about?
We believe we're beginning to see a trickle of God's outpouring among us at Proximity Church. We're grateful for what he has begun, and we're hungry for more.
In Isaiah 62, we're called to take our place as “watchmen”, giving ourselves to persistent prayer.
In Ezekiel 47, we see a river flowing from God's presence, growing deeper and bringing life wherever it goes.
This November, we're setting aside a week to seek Jesus together, come before our King, and pray for His purposes to be established. We'll be creating a dedicated prayer room, a place to listen to God, pray with purpose and stand together in the spiritual battle, bringing:
our lives
our church
our town
and our world before him.
As we pray into our GROW vision (to Give generously, be Rooted and established in love, see an Outpouring of the Spirit, and become Witnesses and disciple-makers) we're asking God to deepen his work in us and carry his life through us to the world around us.
